Cell Culture
Cell culture is the process of growing cells in a laboratory setting in an artificial, controlled environment, typically with the use of a nutrient-rich medium. It is an essential tool used in cell biology and biotechnology to study cell development and as a platform to produce proteins and other biological molecules. Through cell culture, scientists can study how cells grow, divide, and interact with each other in ways that are not possible with whole organisms. Cell culture also enables the production of large amounts of cells, providing a source of material for pharmaceuticals, vaccines and other medical treatments. Cell culture is a powerful tool that not only allows scientists to study diseases, but also to develop novel therapies and treatments.
