Eosinophilia

Eosinophilia is a condition where there is an increase in the number of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell, in the blood. It is usually associated with allergic reactions, parasitic infections, and some types of cancer. It can be a sign of other underlying conditions and can affect a person’s health significantly. Treatment usually involves identifying and treating the underlying cause, as well as ongoing medical management, such as medications and lifestyle modifications. As such, it is important to consult with a healthcare provider if there is suspicion of eosinophilia.
