Pluripotent Stem Cells
Pluripotent stem cells are a type of stem cell with the remarkable ability to develop into many different types of cells in the body. These cells have significant implications in the medical field, as they can be used to create replacement organs, treat genetic disorders, and to further the understanding of human development. Additionally, because pluripotent stem cells can be harvested from a variety of sources, including adult tissue, they offer advantages over embryonic stem cells. These advantages have made them a promising tool for regenerative medicine.
