Seminiferous Tubules

Seminiferous tubules are a key component of the male reproductive system. They are specialized tubes located inside the testes, where sperm cells are produced and released. They are composed of two types of cells: spermatogonia, which are stem cells that can differentiate into sperm cells, and Sertoli cells, which support the sperm cells’ development. Seminiferous tubules are responsible for producing sperm, and are essential for male fertility. In addition, they play a role in the regulation of testosterone levels, which is important for development and reproductive processes.
