Breast Disease
Breast disease is an umbrella term that describes any condition that affects the breast tissue in women. This includes breast cancer, inflammatory conditions, and benign (non-cancerous) tumors. It is important to diagnose and treat breast disease early, as some conditions can worsen if left untreated. Treatment options for breast disease may include medication, surgery, or radiation depending on the type and severity of the condition. Regular self-breast exams, along with mammograms, can improve early detection and help to reduce the risk of developing breast disease.
