Supplements

Supplements are products taken orally (through the mouth) that provide additional sources of nutrients meant to supplement a person’s diet. They are widely used by those looking to fill dietary gaps and promote improved health. Supplements provide additional vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients that can be hard to get from regular diets. Supplements can be helpful for people who have limited access to healthy foods, are trying to build muscle, or are at risk of developing a deficiency. Supplements come in a variety of forms, including capsules, tablets, powders, and liquids. Some supplements have been clinically studied and shown to provide benefits in improving people’s overall health and wellbeing.
