Fungicides

Fungicides are chemical compounds used to control fungal growth on a wide variety of crops and surfaces. Fungicides are primarily used in agricultural settings to protect plants from fungal pathogens, and in the home, to protect against mildew, mold and other destructive fungi. Fungicides are widely used as an important part of integrated pest management strategies to reduce the impact of fungal plant diseases and protect the quality and yield of crops. Fungicides can also be used to prevent the spread of fungal diseases in animals, and to protect buildings and other structures from fungal damage.
