Glucans

Glucans are a type of polysaccharides composed of glucose molecules linked together. They are found in plants and fungi, such as mushrooms and oats, and are essential for humans and animals alike, providing energy and cell walls. Glucans provide a range of health benefits, including reducing inflammation, improving gut health, boosting the immune system, and reducing the risk of heart disease. They have also shown potential as an anti-cancer treatment and in the treatment of diabetes. Glucans are easily incorporated into a balanced diet, either as an ingredient in certain foods or as a supplement.
