Kojic Acid
Kojic acid is a naturally-occurring, organic compound derived from a variety of fungi. It is increasingly being used as an ingredient in skin creams, lotions, and cleansers because it is a powerful skin-lightening agent. It works by inhibiting the production of melanin, the pigment that gives skin its color. Kojic acid is also used to treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, pigmentation disorders, sun damage, and age spots. In addition, it can be used as a preservative in food, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Kojic acid is a safe, effective and natural way to improve the appearance of skin, making it lighter and brighter.
