Chromatin Modification

Chromatin modification is the process of chemically altering DNA and the proteins that associate with it, with the aim of regulating gene expression. This type of modification is important as it helps to organize the DNA within the cell and controls when gene expression occurs. Chromatin modification also plays a role in various biological processes, such as DNA repair, DNA replication, and cell differentiation.
