Gene Regulation
Gene regulation is the process in which genes are turned on and off in different cells to control their functions. It is an important process in many biological processes, such as embryonic development, cell differentiation, and metabolism. Gene regulation also plays a role in diseases as well as in how cells respond to environmental changes. By understanding gene regulation, scientists can better understand how cells work, how diseases develop, and how to develop treatments and therapies.
