Homosexuals

Homosexuality refers to someone who is attracted to people of their own gender (either male or female). It is an important part of human sexuality, and it is natural, normal and widespread in humans and other species. Homosexuals have historically been subject to prejudice and discrimination, often leading to significant difficulties in the areas of healthcare, employment, and housing. In recent decades, many countries have begun to recognize the rights of homosexual people to be treated with respect and dignity. In addition, greater acceptance and understanding has led to a decrease in discrimination and exclusion of homosexuals, as well as an increase in legal recognition of same-sex unions.
