Epilepsy Cognition

Epilepsy Cognition is an area of study that looks at the cognitive functioning of people with epilepsy, including the effects of seizures on cognitive abilities. It also investigates ways to improve cognitive functioning, as well as understanding how epilepsy and cognition interact. This research is important as better cognition can lead to better quality of life for those with the condition, as well as potentially providing insight into the general functions of the brain. Epilepsy cognition research has the potential to provide treatments for those with epilepsy, as well as helping to inform how cognitive abilities can be preserved through lifestyle changes and interventions.
