Allergic Sinusitis

Allergic sinusitis is a condition caused when the sinuses become inflamed due to an allergic reaction to environmental substances such as pollen, dust, mold, pet dander, and other particles. Symptoms can include nasal congestion, sneezing, coughing, itchy eyes, and fatigue. Allergic sinusitis can have a significant impact on your quality of life and can lead to more serious health issues if left untreated. Treatment typically includes antihistamines and nasal sprays to reduce inflammation and to lessen the severity of symptoms. Allergy shots may also be recommended to reduce the risk of future flare-ups. Allergic sinusitis is a common condition, affecting millions of people around the world, and early diagnosis and treatment is key in helping to manage it.
