Peptides

Peptides are molecules made up of two or more amino acids linked together by peptide bonds. They are important for many different cellular processes, including regulating cellular growth and development, providing structure and function to proteins, and mediating metabolic activities. Peptides can also be used to develop drugs, as they can bind to specific target sites in the body and provide therapeutic effects. They are an increasingly important tool in modern medicine, and research is ongoing to discover more potential therapeutic uses for peptides.
