Antibacterial Agents

Antibacterial agents are substances that either kill or suppress the growth of bacteria. These agents are used to combat bacterial infections in humans, animals, and plants. They are also used to preserve food items, prevent the spread of infections in clinical settings, and to protect against unwanted bacterial contamination in manufacturing processes. The use of appropriate antibacterial agents is important for maintaining public health and safety.
