Genomic Approaches
Genomic approaches involve the study of an organism’s entire genetic material (genome) in order to gain insights into its physiology, development, and evolution. By sequencing the entire genome of an organism, researchers can pinpoint specific genetic changes that occur in different diseases and used this information to develop personalized approaches to diagnosing and treating diseases. Genomic approaches also help to identify genetic variations that may contribute to differences in drug responses and better understand complex biological processes. Genomic approaches have revolutionized the biomedical field and continue to play an essential role in improving the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.
