Calcium Imaging
Calcium imaging is a technique used to monitor the changes in calcium levels inside cells as an indicator for functional cell activity. Cells can be monitored in real-time to detect patterns of activity and how they respond to external stimuli. Calcium imaging is a powerful tool for biomedical research, as it can be used to detect and analyze the cellular signaling of important metabolic processes. Furthermore, it has the potential to lead to more effective treatment strategies for diseases such as cancer, neurological disorders and metabolic syndromes. Calcium imaging can also be used for tissue engineering, drug discovery and testing, and in-vivo imaging tests.
