Cdk4 Kinase Assay

The Cdk4 kinase assay is a valuable tool used to identify and measure the activity of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs). This enzymatic assay can be employed to evaluate the effects of various biological compounds on CDK activity, such as proteins, small molecules, and drug candidates. Understanding the role of CDKs in controlling cell cycle progression is crucial; as a result, the Cdk4 kinase assay is vital for the development of new drugs and therapies for treating diseases associated with cell cycle dysregulation. Furthermore, this assay is also useful for studying the role of CDKs in other cellular processes, including proliferation, apoptosis, and DNA damage.
