Cell Culturing Techniques
Cell culturing techniques are used to grow and maintain cells in vitro in a controlled environment, enabling them to be studied and manipulated. Cell cultures are widely used in research, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, cell line development, and cell-based therapies. By allowing the manipulation of cells outside of living organisms, researchers are able to investigate the roles of various proteins, membrane components, and metabolic pathways in cellular processes under controlled conditions. Additionally, cell culturing techniques can be used to produce recombinant proteins, engineer stem cells, and create cell lines of various types to study diseases, drug responses, and other biological processes.
