Cell Death
Cell death is the process by which cells in the body naturally die and are broken down. It is an important biological phenomenon that helps maintain homeostasis and ensure normal functioning of an organism. Cell death plays a critical role in many physiological processes, such as tissue repair and wound healing, development of the embryo, and removal of damaged or aged cells. It is also an important part of the immune system by eliminating harmful cells, such as cancer cells. Without cell death, the body would be unable to heal, leading to chronic disease and even death.
