Flagellar Motility
Flagellar motility is the ability of cells to move using flagella, which are long and thin membrane-enclosed fibers. It is found in both single- and multi-cellular organisms, and is used for a variety of purposes, such as locomotion, food-seeking, and host-pathogen interactions. Flagellar motility is important for a variety of biological processes, including cell adhesion, motility, growth and development.
