Tgf-beta Signaling Cascade

The TGF-beta signaling cascade is an important cell signaling pathway that regulates various processes such as cell proliferation, growth, differentiation, and death. It is critical for proper embryonic development, wound healing, and tissue repair, as well as maintaining homeostasis in adult tissues. Abnormalities in this cascade can lead to a variety of diseases, ranging from cancer to diabetes. Therefore, understanding the molecular mechanisms of this cascade is of great importance. It is currently under intensive research for possible therapeutic applications in the treatment of various diseases, including cancer and autoimmune disorders.
