Vero Cells
Vero Cells are a line of African green monkey kidney cells primarily used in the manufacturing of vaccines. They are important in the research of a variety of viruses, and their robust characteristics make them a reliable cell type for vaccine production. Vero Cells are preferred to other types of kidney cells commonly used in vaccine production due to their exceptional resistance to viral infections and their ability to grow quickly in culture. They have become increasingly popular in the development of new vaccines and in the maintenance of existing vaccines. Vero Cells also play an important role in virus research, as their permanent production of interferon makes them an ideal cell type for studying various viruses.
