Cytokinesis
Cytokinesis is the process by which a cell divides into two. It happens after mitosis and meiosis, forming two genetically identical daughter cells from a single mother cell. This process is essential for cell growth and development, and is essential for tissue and organ regeneration and repair. Cytokinesis also plays a role in maintaining the number of cells within an organism, as cells that are damaged or no longer required are removed by the process. In summary, cytokinesis is an essential process for growth, repair and survival of the cells and organisms.
