Dr. Zhiqiang Feng is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, where his research addresses critical intersections of demography, policy, and socioeconomic development. He earned his PhD from Lancaster University, establishing a foundation for rigorous quantitative and spatial analysis. His most influential work, "Effect of Fertility Policy Changes on the Population Structure and Economy of China: From the Perspective of the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways," published in 2019, has garnered 172 citations and exemplifies his expertise in modeling the long-term demographic and economic consequences of policy interventions.
