Health Research
Impact of Social Media on health: It examines how using social media platforms, such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, can affect a person's physical health and mental wellbeing. It investigates how different factors such as frequency of use, type of content viewed, and amount of time spent online can affect someone's health. Research has shown that prolonged periods of excessive use of social networking sites can lead to negative physical and mental health outcomes, including depression, anxiety, and reduced cognitive functioning. On the other hand, studies have also shown that certain types of social media use can have positive benefits such as increased social support and improved access to health information. By understanding the effects of social media on health, we can work to create healthier online environments and reduce the negative consequences associated with excessive or inappropriate use.
