Eosinophils

Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that are involved in the body's immune response, helping to protect the body from infection and disease. They are a part of the immune system, and their main role is to fight against anything that is perceived as a threat, such as allergens, parasites, and certain types of bacteria. They are an important part of our body’s defence mechanism and play an essential role in fighting off various diseases. Moreover, eosinophils are also known to help with tissue repair and wound healing. An elevated level of eosinophils in the blood is an indication of an allergic reaction or an infection, and is often used as an indicator for diagnosing certain conditions.
