Infection Novel Therapies
Infection novel therapies are treatments that are being developed to fight infections, such as bacteria and viruses, and reduce their spread. These therapies are becoming increasingly important as the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant infections rises and new infectious diseases emerge. Infection novel therapies can range from completely new drugs to strategies for enhancing the body’s natural defenses against infection. They aim to reduce symptoms and improve outcomes for those infected. Examples include gene therapies, monoclonal antibodies, and immunotherapies. These therapies offer great potential to reduce morbidity and mortality from infectious diseases, and could therefore have significant public health benefits.
