Disability Management
Disability management is the process of helping people, with physical or mental challenges, to enjoy the same opportunities and experiences as everyone else. It facilitates greater access to services to assist individuals in living meaningful and independent lives. This can include services such as job coaching, physical and occupational therapy, mobility and sensory aids, assistive technology, and transportation. Disability management is a critical element to any organization looking to fulfill its commitment to accessibility and inclusion. Through the use of evidence-based interventions, it also improves workplace safety and productivity and reduces potential litigation costs.
