Caregiver
intervention Caregiver intervention is an evidence-based approach that seeks to support and reinforce the caregiving practices of those caring for a person with a disability or special healthcare needs. It can include providing guidance, support, and practical assistance to caregivers and providing access to available resources or services. Caregiver interventions are important for helping to reduce caregiver burden and stress, improve the quality of life of the person being cared for, and promote the health and well-being of the caregiver. Caregiver interventions can also help maximize family functioning, and can ultimately lead to improved health outcomes for both the caregiver and the person that is being cared for.
