Cognitive Psychology
Cognitive psychology is a branch of psychology that studies the mental processes that underlie behavior, including perception, problem solving, memory, language, decision-making, and thinking. It is concerned with how people acquire, process, and store information, and how they use it to make decisions and draw conclusions. Cognitive psychology is an important field of study for enhancing our understanding of human behavior and for developing strategies to improve thinking and decision-making. This research has application in many areas, from medical diagnosis and treatment, to business and government policy-making, to education and learning.
