Evidence-based Therapy
Evidence-based therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses empirical evidence to establish best practices for treating mental health disorders. The aim is to ensure that treatment is as effective as possible with minimal risk of adverse effects. Evidence-based therapy has been shown to be most effective when it incorporates multiple modalities, such as pharmacotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and interpersonal therapy. By utilizing evidence-based therapies, mental health professionals are better able to provide effective treatment to their patients, resulting in improved outcomes.
