Play Therapy
Play therapy is an evidence-based form of psychotherapy aimed at helping children aged 3-11 effectively address and resolve their emotional, social, behavioral, and academic struggles. During play therapy, a child engages in playing activities with a trained, certified therapist. Through these activities, the therapist helps the child develop healthier coping skills and a more positive outlook on life. Play therapy can be used to treat issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and relationship issues. Because play is a child's natural way of expressing themselves, play therapy is often more effective in helping children deal with their struggles than traditional talk therapies.
