Spirituality

Spirituality refers to the search for meaning and purpose in life, typically through connectedness with a higher force or power, often referred to as a “God”. It can manifest in various ways and is often a core part of the lives of those who practice it. Spirituality has been linked to mental health benefits, including improved self-esteem, stress reduction, and sense of purpose. Additionally, some research suggests that spirituality may be associated with improved physical health, such as increased longevity and improved immune system functioning. Many people engage in spiritual practices such as prayer, meditation, or attending religious services. Spiritual practices can also include activities such as yoga, martial arts, or walking in nature. Spirituality is an important part of many people’s lives, and can provide an invaluable source of comfort and growth.
