Cortico Steroids

Corticosteroids are a type of steroid hormone produced in the adrenal cortex. They play an important role in regulating many body functions, such as the body's response to stress and inflammation. Corticosteroids are commonly used to treat a variety of illnesses, including asthma, allergies and autoimmune diseases. They can be taken orally, injected intramuscularly or inhaled. In addition to their therapeutic effects, they can have serious side effects if taken in high doses or for long periods of time without medical supervision.
