Tracheal and Bronchial Tumors

Tracheal and bronchial tumors are abnormal growths that occur in the trachea and bronchi, the airways of the respiratory system. These tumors can be benign, meaning they are not cancerous, or malignant, meaning they are cancerous. They are some of the most common types of tumors in the lung and can be caused by a variety of different factors, such as smoking, radiation, or exposure to certain chemicals. Treatment for these tumors can involve surgery, radiation, and/or chemotherapy. Early detection and treatment is crucial for the successful treatment of these tumors and can improve patients’ chances of survival.
