Owls

Owls are a type of raptor, typically characterized by large eyes, sharp talons, and facial disc features that aid in better hearing. Unlike most birds, owls are nocturnal, relying mostly on their hearing to hunt during the night. They are found on every continent except Antarctica and are known for their unique hoots and displays of nimbleness and intelligence. Owls have long been considered a symbol of wisdom, mystery, and have featured prominently in art, literature, and mythology. In addition, they provide an important ecological service, controlling rodent populations around the world.
