The Journal of Antioxidant Activity (JAA) is an Open Access, peer-reviewed publication devoted to research on antioxidants and related topics. JAA is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the fields of nutrition, pharmacology and related sciences.


The primary objective of the Journal of Antioxidant Activity is to provide a forum for the dissemination of high-quality research and fundamental knowledge related to nutrition, pharmacology, biology, and other disciplines with relevance to health and wellness. JAA seeks to publish contributions in areas such as the discovery and development of new antioxidants, mechanisms of action, clinical studies, and health benefits.


The scope of the Journal of Antioxidant Activity encompasses all aspects of antioxidant research including: the discovery and development of new antioxidants, mechanisms of action, their application in personal care products, medical applications, and their potential impacts on health and wellness.
