The approved routes
All three routes reach the same editorial office and the same review process. No route is handled faster, more favorably, or ahead of another.
Primary route: ManuscriptZone
The publisher's manuscript system. Create an account, upload the files and track the manuscript through review.
Alternative route: Simple manuscript submission form
A short form that sends the manuscript to the editorial office. The form opens with this journal already selected.
Assisted route: Editorial email
Authors who would rather send the manuscript to the editorial office directly, or who need help with either route, can write to [email protected].
Authors must use only one submission route for the same manuscript.
Before you send it
What to have ready
Files
- The main manuscript, with the title page supplied as a separate file.
- Figures at a resolution that stays legible, and tables in an editable format.
- Supplementary material, clearly labeled and referred to in the text.
- A cover letter stating what the work contributes and which article type it is.
- The completed reporting checklist for the study design.
Declarations
- Ethics approval and the consent procedure, or the basis on which consent was waived.
- Trial registration details where the study is an interventional trial.
- A data-availability statement.
- Competing interests for every author, and all sources of funding.
- Author contributions, and disclosure of any use of generative AI.

After you submit
What happens next
Assessment
All submissions undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that meet the journal's scope and minimum requirements proceed to independent peer review.
Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request.
Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts.
Decisions and charges
Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal.
The article processing charge of USD 2,400 is invoiced only after a manuscript has been accepted. Decisions remain independent of fees, membership, editorial roles and paid services.
