Aims and Scope

International Journal of Pain Management publishes manuscripts related to all aspects of pain. The chief mission of this journal is to improve pain management and care for patients suffering from pain by providing a comprehensive forum for clinical researchers. Journal of Pain Management supports the original research, review, short communication, letter on new approaches in Pain Management.

International Journal of Pain Management (IJP) aims to bring current and novel research to the field of pain management and to provide an interactive forum for the discussion of pain management principles, treatments, and products. Each issue of IJP is focused on a particular topic related to pain management. The journal provides an opportunity for experts in the field to share their knowledge on novel developments and best practices. 

The mission of IJP is to explore and promote current research, as well as providing a platform for practitioners to share their experiences and best practices in pain management across the lifespan. The journal seeks to explore the new techniques being developed to address the challenges posed by pain management and to provide a platform for the discussion of recent developments and the results of research. The journal also provides a platform to disseminate the findings of clinical and basic research that can be used to develop improved methods of diagnosing and treating pain. 

The scope of IJP includes papers that deal with a range of topics related to pain management including diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and malignant pain, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments, as well as the use of imaging and biopsychosocial therapies in managing pain.

IJP also seeks to promote research related to the cultural, economic, legal, and ethical issues associated with pain management, as well as the wider impact of pain on society. 

The editorial goals of IJP are to provide a platform for articles that are scientifically rigorous, timely, and relevant. All submitted papers are rigorously reviewed in a peer-review process. Original research papers, reviews, short communications, and case reports are all accepted by the journal. IJP also encourages submissions of clinical studies, which can be the basis for new ideas and practices in the field of pain management.
