Burns Rehabilitation

Burns Rehabilitation is a specialized form of physical and occupational therapy for those with severe burns, providing a comprehensive approach to healing and recovery. It helps the patient regain physical strength and function, restore self-care abilities, and cope with the emotional and psychological effects of a burn injury. It is an important form of care to reduce the risk of permanent disability, improve quality of life and independence, and minimize the impact of the injury. Through stretching and strengthening exercises, wound and scar management, activities of daily living, and psychological support, burns rehabilitation helps the patient to learn how to manage their symptoms and progress towards recovery.
