Urinary Tract Trauma
Urinary tract trauma is a medical condition where the bladder, ureters, and/or urethra are damaged due to physical trauma such as being hit by a blunt object, or through a surgical procedure. Symptoms may include pain in the abdomen or genital area, blood in the urine, and an inability to control urination. It is important to identify urinary tract trauma quickly and accurately in order to provide timely and appropriate treatment. Treatment may involve antibiotics, immobilization, pain management, surgery, and/or catheterization. Urinary tract trauma is a serious condition which can lead to significant health complications if not addressed properly.
