Diuretics

Diuretics are medications or natural supplements that help increase the production of urine in the body, resulting in the elimination of excess fluids, salts, and toxins from the body. They are particularly useful for treating conditions such as high blood pressure, edema, and congestive heart failure. Diuretics can also be used for conditions such as pre-eclampsia and chronic kidney disease, plus to help reduce the symptoms of certain types of allergies. As diuretics can also increase urine production, they can be used to help reduce the risk of urinary tract infections and kidney stones. In summary, diuretics are useful medications and natural supplements used to eliminate excess fluids and salts from the body, helping treat a variety of conditions and reducing the risk of developing certain infections and kidney stones.
