Laboratory Tests
Laboratory tests are medical tests that are performed in a laboratory to help diagnose, monitor and/or predict a medical condition or disease. These tests are used by doctors to evaluate a person’s health and can help determine if they are at risk of developing certain diseases or if they may have a certain condition. Laboratory tests are also used to monitor changes in a person’s health or to see how well treatments are working. They can also provide important information about a person’s genetics and help identify genetic conditions that may be passed down through family members. Laboratory tests are an invaluable tool in providing accurate diagnoses and helping to ensure a patient’s health and wellbeing.
