Myomectomy
Myomectomy is a surgical procedure to remove uterine fibroids. It is a minimally invasive procedure, meaning it can be performed through small incisions, and requires no stitches or hospitalization. During the procedure, the doctor will make a small incision in the abdomen and carefully remove the fibroids. Myomectomy is an effective solution for women who have fibroids that are causing symptoms such as pain, abnormal heavy menstrual bleeding, or pressure on other organs in the abdomen. It can also improve fertility in women who have difficulty conceiving due to fibroids. Myomectomy can effectively treat uterine fibroids, and provides a way for women to improve their quality of life without having to resort to a hysterectomy.
