Urinary Incontinence

Urinary incontinence is a condition where a person's voluntary control over bladder function is impaired, causing involuntary leakage of urine. This condition can occur due to a variety of medical conditions, such as neurological disorders, enlarged prostate, childbirth, weak muscles, and certain medications. It can have a significant impact on a person's quality of life, leading to embarrassment, decreased self-confidence and disrupted daily activities. Urinary incontinence is therefore an important medical and social issue, and can be managed with timely diagnosis and treatment. Possible treatments include medical and lifestyle management, pelvic floor muscle training, bladder control devices, and in more severe cases, surgery.
