Uterus

The uterus is a muscular organ located in the female pelvis, between the bladder and rectum. It is an essential reproductive organ, playing a significant role in pregnancy by providing a place for the fetus to grow and develop. The uterine walls form a protective barrier and produce hormones to support the growth and development of the fetus. During labor, the uterus contracts and relaxes to facilitate childbirth.
