Globalization
Globalization refers to the process of increased interconnectedness between people, cultures and nations across the globe, facilitated by international trade, communication, cultural exchange, migration, transportation and technology. It has had a profound impact on the world economy, politics and culture, significantly increasing international communication, negotiating economic and political agreements, creating global markets and production networks, and creating new opportunities for individuals, businesses and communities. Globalization has led to increased competition and efficiency, allowing countries to better exploit their resources, allowing greater consumer choice and access to more goods and services, and fueling economic growth. It has also facilitated the spread of ideas, facilitating greater access to education, technology, and social progress, as well as contributing to the expansion of services and entertainment.
