Covariance
Covariance is a measure used in statistics to indicate how two variables change together. It is used to determine the relationship between two variables and can range from negative to positive. Positive covariance means that the two variables tend to increase or decrease together, while negative covariance means their values tend to move in opposite directions. Covariance can help interpret and make use of complex data sets and can be used in data analysis and predictive modelling. It is also used to measure risk in investing, as a more accurate way to determine how two investments may react to the same event.
